Overview

Take a Trip Foundation will partner with a high school to facilitate an essay contest asking students to describe where they would like to travel and why.  A group of selected finalists will then submit video essays further explaining their destination choice and what traveling would mean to them.    One winner will be selected to embark on the trip to the destination they have requested.  

Student Essay

Take a Trip Foundation will partner with a school to facilitate an essay contest for high school students.  The essay topic will ask the student to describe where they would like to travel and why.  Essays will be judged by Take a Trip and a finalist will be chosen to experience the trip of a lifetime with one guardian. 

Trip Details

Each trip will be tailored to the selected student.  We will involve the student in every aspect of the planning process and educate them along the way.  We feel the experience is enriched by the level of involvement the traveler has in planning the trip itself and researching the culture in which you are about to be immersed in. 

Funding

After self-funding our inaugural trip, we will be reaching out to corporations and travel industry leaders to assist in sponsorships for future trips.  We value and appreciate donations from individuals and companies of all sizes in efforts to share the gift of travel with these students.
